Chrysanthemum Stem

Ann Carrington Studio presents a new limited edition of twenty five single chrysanthemum stems. Fashioned from recycled cutlery and plated in silver and nickel, each stem is presented in a repurposed box, hand-signed by the artist, with the limited edition number on the side. Charmingly wrapped in off-cuts of velvet (colour of velvet may vary from photos)  and fastened with pieces of hardware found at the studio, they portray the fundamental element of Ann’s practice by using discarded and found objects.

Each chrysanthemum stem measures approximately 40cm long, by 20cm wide at the head (15.7 x 7.9 inches), with the box measuring 52 cm x 24 cm x 20 cm (20.5 x 9.4 x 7.9 inches). The chrysanthemum has an engraved signed disc, and each box contains a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
